me, pretending to bake cookies...

My blog friend Abby is celebrating her two year blogiversary. I was excited when she asked if I would like to make something for her month of giveaways. I knew exactly what I wanted to make. An apron and coordinating dish towels (with snaps, of course!). Go here for your chance to win!

I have been making aprons for a couple of years now. They make great gifts and I think every one of my sisters and sisters-in-law and many friends have received one as a birthday present. BUT I have never made one for myself. I decided to rectify that this week! Stay tuned...

So, Erin, the Wride Family was over last night, we called it FHE but was really teaching genealogy. Elizabeth was at my computer which, of course, popped up with "Sutton Grace"; she laughed when she saw it and said that "Erin is amazing"! She reads your blog all the time. I've had several ward members tell me about what they read on your blog. You are "Famous" in the Sunset Ward! I love you! (and would even if you weren't famous)

I received a beautiful black and white apron with grass green trim a few years ago from Jen! It's beautiful and I love it. Thanks for making it!

I'm excited to see your face in your post! Usually you turn away but you're so pretty, you should show that pretty face of yours. :) OK now I sound like a grandmother.

These are so cute! I will have to throw my name in. This photo of you brings back a memory of some wonderful cookies my new neighbor "Erin" brought over when we first move to Brooklyn. I don't thing you were wearing the apron though:)

Thanks everybody for your kind words!

@Mom- Now I am totally going to have stage fright! Just kidding, I think that's great! And I love you too Mom.

@JennBenn- you sound like the kind of Grandma I like. I'll keep you around!

@Jennifer- That is so funny. I remember that day too. Also, I love that it makes me sound like a nicer person than I really am! Ha!

I just found your blog and I LOVE it. My only problem is for some reason the pics on your blog won't load...a few do, but the majority doesn't. Do you have any suggestions? I'm not having this problem on other blogs so I thought maybe you might know something I should be doing for yours. Thanks so much and I love your creative ideas (especially the repurposed play kitchen). I saw about half the photos on it and loved it. Sincerely Anna
