Where did the last week go?? Thanksgiving was so wonderful! Several days of no school for the kids and no work for Michael was heavenly. I've had a hard time adjusting back to normal life.
Thanksgiving dinner was hosted by my sister-in-law Jen this year. Everything was delicious! I made a turkey, roasted carrots, rolls (I used frozen rolls- don't tell anyone!) and several pies.
The adult table:
The kid table. They had lots of fun coloring on the paper covered table.
There was a little wiffle ball going on in the front yard. Sutton LOVED being included with the big kids.
Then came the PIE. I may or may not have looked like this after I ate my pie.
The obligatory group shot. Kalleen, you asked for a belly shot. This is probably the closest you'll get. I am starting to get a complex. The next person that asks me if I am "sure there are TWINS in there?" would get kicked in the teeth if only I could get my foot that high! :)

I got the "are you SURE you're not having twins?" comment with *all four* of my pregnancies. I will never understand why people say that. Just know that you are not alone (and you look adorable!).
Love the paper covered kid table ... I will stash that idea away for next year. :)
wow, erin - are you sure you aren't having twins? ha ha. virtual kick to my teeth. :) you are an adorable pregnant lady, people are just stupid and feel the need to comment on everything apparently!
thanks again for saving the day with the extra turkey! (and jon LOVED your pumpkin spice cream pie or whatever it was called...you need to post the recipe).
I'm 31 weeks along and I get the opposite comment of 'Look how tiny you are!' Which generally makes me feel like I must be a massive huge person normally because I feel like the lost balloon from the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. I'm impressed you have the energy to get everything done that you do! I ♥ your blog!
Erin, you look great, but that is no belly shot. Thanks anyways, you made my night. I need your address so I can send you some chocolates, from what I can see your belly isn't big enough.
I get a lot of comments along the lines of "you must be expecting a christmas baby" lately. Ummm... not unless Christmas is coming in March this year! I'm sure the twins comments will start in the coming months. Some people just have no filter or internal monitor about what is and is not appropriate to say. I'm sure you are the exact right size of a woman growing a baby in her belly from scratch :)
