Thank you for your well-wishes. I LOVED Boston! I had been there once before, way back in 1996, but only for a few hours. Michael and I had so much fun. We were there for a dear friends wedding and were able to spend time with lots of friends from our Brooklyn days. It was like a mini-reunion. Saturday was the one full day we had for sightseeing but it was pouring rain and very cold so were weren't able to do some of the things that we wanted to do like the freedom trail. We did get to wander around Harvard (gorgeous!) and Quincy Market (hasn't changed in 14 years!). We ate loads of delicious food and spent hours talking and laughing with friends. We missed the kids just enough to motivate us to come home. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the weekend.

You guys look great! I want to hear about Mara's wedding. Glad you got to go!
I Love, Love, Love Boston! My little sister lived there for several years before she got married. There is so much to do, and I love the old feel of the city. I'm glad you guys were able to get away.
You look marvelous and the weather seems to be behaving. Sounds like a great trip and I love your blog!
How fun! It sounds like it was a great trip!
Wait! I know them! Are you coming to NYC for the reception? They look soooo happy!
Lovely photos. I grew up in Massachusetts! I haven't been to the new Boston temple yet! It looks beautiful!
Just came upon your blog recently and tried out your granola recipe. Thanks for sharing it. I had never put flour in my granola so I thought I would give your recipe a try. I liked it.

So fun, Erin. I'm glad you had a great time!! :)
Hooray for Mara! Such a pretty town.. we wish we could have been there to see it!
Great pix! I love how that first one looks so rounded. Did you use a wide angle lens? Glad you had a great getaway.
I remember discovering Boston with you the first time! What an awesome city! Jeff lived there for a few years while he was going to school, and it was so fun to visit them! Actually, I think that was the last time I saw you- when I flew to NYC, and hung with you guys for a couple days before visiting Jeff in Boston! Good memories...
